|
| Fortune Telling on-line - feeling blue and down, uncertain what the future holds and where you are going in life. This place will put it all into perspective | |
| Sitcoms Online - here's another fascinating site for anyone who loves bullshit and hokum. This site has listings of us sitcoms dating way back with galleries of images and info. A must for researchers and trivia fans and those who love to bore the pants off people at parties. Add it to your favourites! | |
| TV Commercials - This is a great site if there is a fun commercial you want to see again. It has loads of them and you should be able to find you favourite. Ours is the courier company using a naked bum to get the message across. You don't have to subscribe to watch them, only if you want to downlaod your favourites. | |
| Online Scams - Beware of Make-money-the-easy-way scams | |
| UK Links - A good place for all your UK information, links to UK sites and UK interests | |
| Tony Martin Support Group - This was the guy who went to prison for 3 years, 3 months and nine days, for shooting intruders who broke into his farm house to rob him. One of them died, 16 year old Fred Barrass and the other Brendon Fearon was injured and tried to Sue Mr Martin for loss of earnings - presumably for not being able enough to deal heroin, his other line of work when not breaking and entering. (Fearon served part of an 18 month stretch for dealing heroin and was released just before Mr Martin. his reason for being in the farmhouse in the first place is laughable. The site provides some interesting insight to Mr Martin's ordeal which itself raises all sorts of questions about life in Britain and just what we can do to protect ourselves from such pond life out to steal and rob from those they think are defenceless. In this case they got it badly wrong. Serves 'em right. Just what was a Fearon doing taking a 16 year old on a burglary in the first place and just what has British law done to punish him for that crime alone? |

| The Broadband Map - Just in case you were thinking of whether or not your area is enabled. Sadly British Telecom is taking a long time to enable exchanges in the outer lying regions. I guess as usual we'll be behind the rest of the world. By the way it's still too expensive - unnecessarily so. | |
| Dr.Marten's Shoes - Well let's just say we're fans and will be unless their moving of the manufacture abroad (like so many others Dyson etc) results in the loss of quality. Thee are already a lot of stories to the effect chaps. Better get it right or sink without a trace... | |
| Burke's Peerage - the place for toffs and I can tell you there are a few right burkes listed here. Its a place of interest if you want to know who and how the other half lives or even if you're one of them... you never know. You may be decended from a long line of .....burkes! | |
| Greenwich Mean Time - Good place to check your watch! | |
| The Met Office - Now check the weather | |
| The Onion - a like minded sense of humour - we like it! | |
| Acidics - Making money on-line is a minefield with get rich quick and get rich for doing nothing schemes. Go here before you try. | |
| Space.com - here's an interesting site which will keep you busy for hours... that's if you are interested in what's happening spacewise. | |
